Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga Workshops are great for teaching the foundation of the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice.

Saturday 15 July 2017 starting from 9.00am until 12.00pm

Participants will receive focused attention and hands-on adjustments. This will give them the foundation to build on their yoga practice correctly, safely and with strength and understanding. This workshop does not require a specific fitness level becausethe participant will work within their abilities. This is a great place to start if you have experience in a softer form of hatha yoga. It is also perfect for a beginner to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga or a person looking to review postures and placement. Both experienced yoga students and beginners are welcome. Also, absolutely no experience with yoga is necessary.

Yoga & Chocolate intertwine for maximum bliss in this two hour workshop that includes a heart opening yoga flow, soul connecting meditation, and a deep relaxation.

Learn how to tune into creative awareness through yoga and explore to develop or even find our creative side through our yoga practice. During the yin & yang yoga class we will relax into postures that encourage creativity and use creative visualization to connect to our unconscious mind. The workshop is designed to provide you with the tools to guide your yoga practice into a creative direction and allow you to observe what rises naturally to the surface when you’re truly relaxed. With guided meditation (in particular yoga nidra) you can observe how unconscious processes play a role in achieving creative awareness and insights. Bring an open mind, pen and a notepad.

Adrienne White owns The Collective in Benton Harbor, Michigan She has a deep love for yoga and has trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Tantric (in the Sri Vidya Tradition as well as with Psalm Isadora’s Venus Code), Aerial Yoga, and Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga.

Hormone Yoga Workshop

Have you ever felt your body was completely irrational? It’s not. It’s hormonal. Hormones influence you throughout your life at every stage of your life. When hormones are not in balance, you don’t feel great.

Hormone Yoga is highly recommended to all women of 35 and older (and to younger women if they have hormonal imbalances) and consists of a number of poses (mainly Hatha and Kundalini). It was initially developed for women entering (peri)menopause. It was soon discovered that Hormone Yoga was also highly beneficial for women with all kinds of hormonal imbalances, ranging from PMS, slow thyroid, fertility problems, hormonal migraine, low sex drive, cysts, PCOS, irregular cycle, etc. The workshop will help (re)balance hormones bringing a feeling of fitness and vitality.

Advance Your Practice Yoga Workshop

In our 3-hour Advance Your Practice Yoga Workshops students gain deeper understanding to their yoga practice. We will focus on philosophy and language. You will also gain deeper practical knowledge of yoga. This workshop covers more complex Yoga asanas (or postures) in step-by-step detail. The student can understand where they should be and what they can work on in each asana. Students will leave with knowledge to enhance their practice in or out of class. Highly recommended for those practicing Full Primary Series or wishing to.Both experienced yoga students and beginners are welcome. Also, absolutely no experience with yoga is necessary.
