YINYASA FLOW YOGA
YINyasa is a fluid flow of yin yoga poses targeting an all-over-body improvement in range of motion & flexibility. The level is adaptable to everyone – all are welcome! Make sure to look for this class on the schedule as it is not always on offer.
KIDS YOGA WITH KIDDING AROUND YOGA
A regular yoga practice can help to counter the stress experienced by children as well as being hugely beneficial for encouraging self-confidence, body awareness, concentration and focus. Physically, it develops children’s flexibility, strength and brain-body coordination. By teaching techniques for breathing, mindfulness, relaxation, self-calming and positive attitude, we can equip children with important tools for which to deal with the stress of living in a chaotic world of constant stimulation.
Kidding Around Yoga brings all the advantages of movement, mindfulness and meditation to children in a fun and engaging way. KIDDING AROUND YOGA (KAY) can share with children the five branches of Yoga at a level appropriate for young minds and bodies. Every KAY class offers a complete Yoga practice that includes: stretching and strengthening poses, relaxation techniques, breathing instruction as well as music, games, and imagination. KAY is not your typical Yoga class; it gets children singing, dancing, skipping, marching, jogging, shaking, laughing, hopping, limbo-ing, and storytelling ALL while practicing Yoga to music.
