Smarten up your crow! Crow Pose Workshop
Smarten up your crow! 2 hours exploration to build and improve your crow pose and variations.

Bakasana all the way !! Balance, be it physical, mental, or emotional, is hard to come by these days, but we ‘re all striving for it and we’re quite uncomfortable with uncertainly and instability. Balancing postures make us feel light, they increase strength, they improve confidence. They also test our calmness and control over the nervous system.
Crow pose is considered one of the easiest to master arm balances: the arms become the legs of the crow, with the hands spread like the crow’s feet, while the thighs and legs are folded up to become the body of the bird.
We keep the body compact and close to the ground, supporting our weight on the hands. However, achieving that first lift-off can be quite challenging.
In this workshop you will learn what muscles have to be strengthen, which ones are engaged and which are stretched to be able to get into the pose.
We will prepare the body with postures leading up to our peak pose, involving the flexion of the upper back, the strengthening of the core, the stretching of the inner and outer hips.
And most important of all, we’ll cultivate a joyful and patient approach of the practice, focusing on enjoying the preparation and not aiming solely for the outcome.
Crows aren’t driven purely by instinct – they can experience anticipation, and exercise self-control if the end result is a greater reward.

Have you ever felt your body was completely irrational? It’s not. It’s hormonal. Hormones influence you throughout your life at every stage of your life. Mentioning the word hormones often elicits blank stares or comments that it’s relevant only to women over fifty. When hormones are not in balance, you don’t feel great.
What is Hormone Yoga?
In short: Hormone Yoga is highly recommended to all women of 35 , and to younger women if they have hormonal imbalances. Hormone Yoga balances the entire glandular system and (re)activates hormone production. The asanas in the Hormone Yoga Workshops consist of a number of poses (mainly from Hatha and Kundalini Yoga) combined with dynamic breathing and visualization techniques that specifically work on the ovaries, thyroid, adrenals and pituitary.
It was initially developed for women entering (peri)menopause, but it was soon discovered that Hormone Yoga was also highly beneficial for women with all kinds of hormonal disbalances, ranging from PMS, slow thyroid, fertility problems, hormonal migraine, low sex drive, cysts, PCOS, irregular cycle, etc.

Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga Workshops are great for teaching the foundation of the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. Participants receive focused attention and also benefit from hands-on adjustments. This will give them the foundation to build on their yoga practice correctly, safely and with strength as well as understanding. This workshop does not require a specific fitness level becausethe participant will work within their abilities. This is a great place to start if you have experience in a softer form of hatha yoga. It is also perfect for a beginner to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga or a person looking to review postures and placement. Both experienced yoga students and beginners are welcome. Also, absolutely no experience with yoga is necessary.
Advance Your Practice Yoga Workshop
In our 3-hour Advance Your Practice Yoga Workshops students gain deeper understanding to their yoga practice. We focus on philosophy and also on yoga language. You will also gain deeper practical knowledge of yoga. This workshop covers more complex Yoga asanas (or postures) in step-by-step detail. The student can understand where they should be and also what they can work on in each asana. Students will leave with knowledge to enhance their practice in or out of class. Highly recommended also for those practicing Full Primary Series or wishing to.Both experienced yoga students and beginners are welcome. Also, absolutely no experience with yoga is necessary.
Couples Yoga Workshop
A fun and unique date for you and your partner. Couples Yoga Workshops guide students through a series of deeply relaxing yoga assists and simple yoga massage techniques.
