Yinsters are back! with another great Yin workshop with Sinziana. This time the workshop is both for newcomers to yin as well as for more advanced yin fanatics.

Sunday 25 March from 10.00am to 12.00am

Hello Yinsters! Remember the delicacies of your trip inwards? We’re back with more! We’ve prepared another one of the yummy long sessions for our explorations of the inner world.

What can you expect from this session? This workshop will be one of few words … Postures are seated or reclined, we are using props to ease into the position, we’re addressing fascia as well as connective tissues, and not the muscles. We stay in each posture for a longer time, allowing the body to open in its own time, observing the feelings and the thoughts shifting without identifying with them. We will enter a state of deep relaxation and release.
New to the tribe? Come discover a different type of practice, which will bring you closer to yourself, to your body, to the wondrous ways of your mind. This workshop is of course open to all.

GO SLOW FOR YOUR SOUL. This workshop is about taking care of yourself. The pace of modern life can be all consuming, stealing your well being and adding stress as well as anxiety. Restorative yoga is a restful, calm, quiet style of yoga that removes stress from your body and creates an inner environment where healing can occur.

Sunday 15 April from 10.00am to 12.00pm

Restorative yoga is particularly good for healing and recovery from injuries. It is also great for anyone who just wants to de-stress and relax, and be well in themselves. It is suitable for people of all levels of yoga practice, including beginners.

What will the workshop involve?
Yvonne will start with a short introduction to the key elements that make restorative yoga so powerful. Then we will start with easy breathing exercises to use during the workshop. Then you will move slowly through a series of 8-10 postures, mostly on the floor, where blankets, cushions, and other props are used to support your body and promote relaxation.Modifications to the postures are provided where needed depending on your needs and levels.

Ashtanga Yoga Introduction:This workshop is for students who are curious about Ashtanga Yoga or want to initiate this practice.

10.30am – 12.30pm
Core and Inversions:Strengthen and stabilize the core of the body to turn upside down to try different headstand variations.

1.00pm – 3.00pm
Strong and Bendy:Learning and practicing techniques to create strength and deeper flexibility in the joints of the body.

3.30pm – 5.00pm
Brave Hearts & Backbends:During this workshop we will look at some postures of Yoga Chikitsa & Nadi Shodana, and how they can be used to purify our energy channels.

This will give them the foundation to build on their yoga practice correctly, safely and with strength as well as understanding. This workshop does not require a specific fitness level becausethe participant will work within their abilities. This is a great place to start if you have experience in a softer form of hatha yoga. It is also perfect for a beginner to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga or a person looking to review postures and placement. Both experienced yoga students and beginners are welcome. Also, absolutely no experience with yoga is necessary.

In our 3-hour Advance Your Practice Yoga Workshops students gain deeper understanding to their yoga practice. We focus on philosophy and also on yoga language. You will also gain deeper practical knowledge of yoga. This workshop covers more complex Yoga asanas (or postures) in step-by-step detail. The student can understand where they should be and also what they can work on in each asana. Students will leave with knowledge to enhance their practice in or out of class. Highly recommended also for those practicing Full Primary Series or wishing to.Both experienced yoga students and beginners are welcome. Also, absolutely no experience with yoga is necessary.
